The Cameroon Football Federation have fired coach Clarence Seedorf and assistant coach Patrick Kluivert. These two seem to be paying the price for Cameroons early exit from the AFCON tournament, the defending champions were knocked out in the last 16 round.
Cameroon was defeated by Nigeria 3-2 and the federation has labelled this as “premature”. It seems they want to get an early start for 2021 when they will be hosting the Africa Cup of Nations.
Seedorf had a decorated career as a player, he was regarded by most as one of the best midfielders of his time in fact, Pele chose him as part of the FIFA 100. He also holds the eighth-most A.C Milan appearance record.
