Chelsea will be keen to kick off the new 2019/20 English Premier League campaign with a win over Manchester United at the Old Trafford Stadium on Sunday.
The Blues are looking to challenge for the league title this season having ended the previous campaign in third place after drawing with Leicester City in their last match.
They are undefeated in their four matches in the competition since losing to Liverpool FC in April 2019.
However, Chelsea are winless in their last three away matches and they have a new manager in Frank Lampard, who has replaced Maurizio Sarri.
The English manager will be looking to mastermind a victory over United in their first game of the 2019/20 campaign.
Meanwhile, United are also looking to compete for the league title this season having ended the previous campaign in the sixth spot after losing to Cardiff City in their last match.
The Red Devils are winless in their last five matches in the competition since defeating West Ham United in April 2019.
They are also winless in their last three home matches under their manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Norwegian tactician will be eager to ensure that his side starts the new season with a win.
The last meeting between United and Chelsea in a league game was on the 28th of April 2019.
The two teams drew 1-1 at the Old Trafford Stadium.
