Struggling Premier League champions Leicester City are away to Chelsea on Saturday as the competition resumes after a one week break.
Leicester made history last season by being crowned the EPL champions for the first time. However, this season has not been promising with just two wins from seven matches. The team has had a particularly bad away record having lost their opening three matches on the road. Apart from a bad away record, the Foxes have also shipped a lot more goals than this time last year with their stalwarts Wes Morgan and Robert Huth showing uncharacteristic lapses in concentration. Ranieri’s men have already conceded ten goals away from home this term while the only conceded 18 in the whole of last season.
Betting odds have Chelsea as heavy favorites to win this match. The two teams have exactly the same record in the last five games with two wins and two losses each. The five point gap between the teams doesnt quite reflect the status of both teams as they have very similar challenges. In injury news, Claudio Ranieri will be hoping that midfielder Danny Drinkwater is fit. Antonio Conte is sure to have John Terry back from injury after he returned to full training recently. Missing from the Chelsea line-up will be their Brazilian midfielder who’s mother passed away and he has been given time to grieve with his loved ones. Conte is likely to call upon Victor Moses who did not play for his country during the international window due to a muscle injury as cover for Willian.
Leicester may have the better record in recent head to head matches between the two teams but it will take a mammoth task for them to emerge victorious. The Betting m
