With the Premier League title almost getting out of their grip, Arsenal will be at their best on Tuesday night when the take on Hull City in a last-16 replay match of the FA Cup.
The Gunners who were favourites to win this year’s Premier League have fallen back significantly in the title chase after poor results in the last three matches.
More significantly, the Gunners remain winless in five consecutive matches in all competitions.
The FA Cup therefore remains their biggest for silverware this season. It is a competition they have won for the last two years and are chasing a third consecutive title.
Tuesday’s fixture however does not look easy for the Gunners who failed to bring down the championship side after the first leg tie ended in a barren draw at the Emirates.
The Gunners will still be without goalkeeper Petr Cech and Laurent Koscielny who are injured alongside Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Hull on the other hand will invite back Shaun Maloney and Nick Powell as they attempt to cause a rare upset.
