FA CUP: Chelsea VS Everton
The Blues were eliminated from the Champions league after going down to PSG 4-2 on aggregate ending their hope for a European trophy this season. Their position in the league does not inspire much hope of a participation in next year’s champions league meaning that winning the FA Cup remains the only positive thing remaining for the Blues.
Chelsea have been in great form since bringing Guus Hiddink on board as interim manager. During that period they have lost only two matches and had a fine run of results in the Cup competition where they have scored 12 goals.
The Blues will be without top striker Diego Costa who was pulled off their match against PSG on Wednesday night. Costa scored in that match and will therefore be greatly missed.
Everton will be hoping to return to winning ways after losing to West Ham last weekend. The Toffees have had a good run of results in the FA Cup and will be hoping that Romelu Lukaku is in his best form to inspire them to victory.
FA CUP: Arsenal VS Watford
On Sunday, FA champions Arsenal will host Watford hoping to keep alive their chances of a third consecutive title.
The Gunners have been disappointing on the league front and remain in real danger of not clinching the title in a season they were highly tipped to win the Premier League.
Arsenal blanked Hull City 4-0 on Tuesday with Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud scoring two goals each. Manchester United sixth on the Premier League log host West Ham in another FA Cup fixture on Sunday.
Premier League: Week 30
On the Premier League front, Norwich City host Manchester City with Stoke inviting Southampton. Both matches will be played on Saturday.
