Leicester City will face off with Aston Villa in a Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg match at the King Power Stadium on January 8.
The Foxes reached the last four after securing a 4-2 win over Everton FC on penalties following a 2-2 draw away in a quarter-final clash last month.
They have also eliminated Newcastle United, Luton Town and Burton Albion from the cup competition this season.
Leicester were defeated 3-1 on penalties by Manchester City following a 1-1 draw in their last home match in the Carabao Cup during the 2018/19 campaign.
Ricardo Pereira, the Leicester full-back, is pleased to have helped the Foxes reach the semi-finals.
“It’s been so much time that Leicester have been trying to [get to a] semi-final,” Ricardo continued.
“It’s good to go to have more games in this competition and now we will focus on the Premier League and then we have time to think [about it].”
Meanwhile, Villa advanced to the semi-finals after recording an emphatic 5-0 victory over Liverpool FC at home in the quarter-final match last month.
The Lions knocked out Crewe Alexandra, Brighton and Hove Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers from the tournament this season.
They defeated Brighton 3-1 in their last away match in the Carabao Cup earlier this season.
The second-leg encounter is set to be played at the Villa Park on the 28th of January 2020.
The last meeting between Leicester and Villa in the Carabao Cup was on the 26th of September 2007.
Leicester secured a 1-0 victory over Villa in a match which was played at the Villa Park.
