Manchester United will square off with Norwich City in an English Premier League match at the Old Trafford Stadium on Saturday.
The Red Devils were beaten 2-0 by Arsenal away in their previous league game which was played on January 01.
The defeat ended Red Devils’ two-match unbeaten run in the league having recorded two wins before facing the Gunners.
They are also unbeaten in their last eight home matches in the league having registered four draws and four wins at Old Trafford Stadium.
United will be hoping to return to winning ways in the competition when they host a struggling Norwich side.
Meanwhile, Norwich were held to a 1-1 draw by Crystal Palace at home in their previous league match which was played on January 01.
The draw extended Canaries’ winless run in the league to eight matches having registered four defeats and four draws.
They are also winless in their last three away matches in the league having recorded one draw and two defeats on the road.
Daniel Farke, the Norwich manager, hopes they can extend their three-match unbeaten run across all competitions against United after defeating Preston North End in the FA Cup.
“We deserved to win the game. It’s always good to have the winning feeling back,” Farke said.
“Meanwhile, we’re now three games unbeaten, so hopefully we can extend that run at Old Trafford.”
The last league meeting between United and Norwich was on the 27th of October 2019.
The match ended in a 3-1 win in favour of United at the Carrow Road Stadium.
