Manchester United will square off with Manchester City in an English Premier League match at the Old Trafford Stadium on March 8.
The Red Devils drew 1-1 with Everton away in their previous league game which was played on March 1.
They are now undefeated in their last four league matches having registered two victories and two draws.
United are unbeaten in their last two home matches in the league having registered one draw and one win.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the United manager, has praised his captain Harry Maguire ahead of the Manchester Derby.
“For me, Harry has earned the armband because of the personality he is,” Solskjaer said.
“He’s always known from the day he walked through the door that I’ve looked at him as a leader in this group.
“Maybe it helps, he’s definitely taken the role on really well and I’m very pleased for him.”
Meanwhile, City beat Leicester City 1-0 away in their previous league match which was played on February 22.
The win extended Citizens’ unbeaten run in the league to two matches having registered two successive victories.
They have won three of their last five away matches in the league, while the other two games ended in a defeat.
The last league meeting between United and City was on the 7th of December 2019.
The Red Devils ran out 2-1 winners over the Citizens at the Etihad Stadium.
