Percy Tau was signed at Brighton & Hove Albion last year but the 25-year-old has failed to obtain a work permit to play in England. Last year he was loaned to Belgian second-tier club Royal Union Saint-Gilloise where he excelled scoring 13 goals for the club and winning player of the season.
His performance has not gone unnoticed as Belgian giants Club Brugge confirmed yesterday he will be on loan to them.
“Club brings Percy Tau to Bruges. The South African is borrowed for one season from Premier League team Brighton & Hove Albion.”

The move will see the possibility of Tau playing in the Champions League should Brugge qualify next month. Tau has started his training with Club Brugge and could see a start for the club as soon as this weekend when they play Sint-Truiden.
