After much speculation as to whether Manchester United manager Louise van Gaal will quit after United hosted Chelsea on Monday night, well it looks like Van Gaal is here to stay.
United lost their fourth match in a row on Monday after they drew 0-0 with Chelsea and the pressure continues to build for Van Gaal to resign.
The Dutchman has endured a very tough time this season. The last two weeks have particularly been torrid for him with speculation flying around that former Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho is expected to replace him.

Things have not been made easier by the fact that his side continues to drop points at an alarming rate and are now out of the top four for the first time this season. This is also the first time since 1990 for United have also failed to win in eight games in all competitions.
After Monday’s games at Old Trafford Van Gaal said “will I resign? On the contrary. When the players give such a performance with a lot of pressure, there’s no reason to resign.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea’s manager Guus Hiddink was happy with Monday’s result because they gained one point despite the fact that all of the Blues strikers are injured.
Both teams meet again on 7 February 2016.
