Tottenham Hotspur will square off with Manchester United in an English Premier League match at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on March 15.
Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw by Burnley away in their previous league game which was played on March 7.
They are now winless in three matches in the league having registered one draw and two defeats against Chelsea, and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Spurs recorded a defeat against Wolves in their last home league match, but prior to that, they had won two league games in a row at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Meanwhile, United secured a 2-0 win over Manchester City at home in their previous league game which was played on March 8.
The win stretched the Red Devils’ unbeaten run to five matches in the league having recorded two draws and three defeats.
They are undefeated in their last two away matches having registered a draw with Everton and a victory over Chelsea.
Scott McTominay, the United midfielder, says they should not get carried away after defeating City as they look to maintain their good form in the Premier League.”We have won a game today, fantastic, but it is the next one and the next one after that. We can’t get too carried away we have to keep going and keep pushing for the Champions League,” McTominay said.
“Credit to the boys – they were top drawer today. We had a sticky first 15-20 mins but you can see how much it means to the boys. It is a game we have to take confidence from but, in the coming weeks, we have to really go for some proper results and keep this run going.”
The last league meeting between Tottenham and United was on the 4th of December 2019.
The Red Devils secured a 2-1 win over Spurs in an encounter which was played at the Old Trafford Stadium.
