West Ham United will look to continue their resurgence when they host Bournemouth in a Premier League clash at London Stadium on Saturday, 20 January 2018, kick-off at 17h00 CAT.
Under manager David Moyes, West Ham have put together a four-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, including an impressive 4-1 away win over Huddersfield Town last weekend.
The Hammers even won their FA Cup replay against Shrewsbury Town in midweek to further lift the mood at a club which has moved away from the relegation zone and is now targeting a top-half finish.
Yet Bournemouth have also had a revival of late, taking the same number of points as West Ham from their last five Premier League matches. Last weekend they came from a goal down to claim a historic 2-1 win over Arsenal.
In head-to-head stats, West Ham and Bournemouth have met in just six matches across all competitions. The Hammers have claimed three wins compared to two for the Cherries, while one game was drawn.
The teams’ most recent meeting a Premier League clash on December 26 last year which ended in a thrilling 3-3 draw. United thought they had the game won when Marko Arnautovic put them ahead in the 89th minute, but Callum Wilson equalised in the third minute of injury time.
