West Ham United will face Tottenham Hotspur in an English Premier League match at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The Hammers were thrashed 3-0 by Burnley away in their previous league game which was played on Saturday, November 9.
The defeat extended West Ham’s winless run to five matches in the league having recorded four defeats and one draw.
They are winless in their last three league games at home having registered two defeats and one draw at the London Stadium.
West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has vowed to work with his players to rediscover the confidence and trust they showed in themselves before their current poor run.
“We will try to recover the trust as a team, and I am sure the results will come,” Pellegrini said.
“We need to keep a cool head and continue working the way we think we must do it better and after that we will see the results.”
Meanwhile, Tottenham drew 1-1 with Sheffield United away in their previous league game which was played on Saturday, November 9.
The draw extended Spurs’ winless run to five matches in the league having registered three draws and two defeats.
They are winless in their last 12 away league matches having recorded nine defeats and three draws on the road.
The last league meeting between West Ham and Tottenham was on the 27th of April 2019.
The Hammers defeated Spurs 1-0 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
